What you’ll be doing
- Operating excavators, including 13T and 20T machines, and rollers
- Completing precise final trim work to ±10mm
- Preparing surfaces for asphalt and concrete
- Supporting general civil construction and machine-based site works
- Working safely across varied site conditions and changing priorities
- Communicating clearly with supervisors, crew members, clients, and suppliers
- Maintaining a professional, tidy, and safety-focused approach on site
What we’re looking for
- Proven excavator operating experience, ideally on 13T+ machines
- Confident, accurate final trim skills to ±10mm
- Strong understanding of surface preparation for asphalt and concrete
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- Good judgement, problem-solving ability, and awareness of site risks
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills and a professional customer-facing approach
- A reliable, safety-first attitude

This role is not suited to trainees or entry-level operators. Proven operating experience and confidence completing high-quality final trim work are essential.
